The location
Our holiday house, Maison Kaja, is situated in beautiful Nice - the French
city commonly referred to as the 'Queen of the Riviera'. It is conveniently
located on the hillsides in a closed domain called 'Les Restanques de Fabron',
which is just a few kilometers from the region’s international airport and close
to the city center.
The domain consists of apartments and semidetached villas surrounded
by planted gardens and olive groves. The domain offers the delights of
a superb swimming pool, the friendliness of a pool house and the intimacy
of landscaped gardens.
Because of its exceptional location, the domain provides ideal aspects and
panoramic views of the sea (Baie des Anges) and the Var plain and offers you
a unique opportunity to enjoy life in a villa in the calm of the heights of
Nice.
Nice is the 5th largest city in France but the 2nd largest centre for tourism,
with some 4 millions visitors per year. It's location at the Mediterranean
sea - centered between the Alps, Provence, Corsica and Italy, makes it an
ideal starting point for numerous excursions.
The fantastic micro-climate in Nice is due to its position - surrounded and
protected by hills and mountains. The sea breezes ensure a mild climate in winter
and reduce the heat in the summer.
